Rush

··· ”Rush” is an upcoming romantic thriller film directed by Mahesh Munasinghe and written by Kalum kularatne. The film stars Uddika Premarathna, Saranga Dissasekara and Asanki De silva and follows a young man who goes through any lengths to protect the one he loves. It is scheduled to be released in Sri Lanka in the beginning of 2019, by RUM Motion Pictures (Pvt) Ltd.

Plot

It's about how a youth named "Rush" finds love, and to what length he goes to keep it. He deceives his lover's family and sacrifice himself for the sake of the girl he loves. When the girl he loves has no clue who he is, he pretends to be the guy her parents are hoping to wed their daughter to. But takes a surprising twist at the point of discovery. 'Rush' who pretends to be 'Shan' is confronted by 'Shan' and hell breaks out. Puja, the woman of his dreams is torn between her feelings for Rush and finding the truth. As she unravels the truth, she is challenged to face great grief and come to terms of what love can do to a person.
