Socio-Technical-Financial System (also known as STFS) is a social science that analyses how economic activity and technology influence and are affected by social processes. It examines how modern civilizations advance, stagnate, or regress as a result of their local or regional economies, as well as the global economy. It also refers to how social and economic issues have an impact on the economy.
Overview
“Socio-Technical-Financial System” was coined and first used in the working paper [1] published by IIM Ahmedabad, Indian Biogas Association and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. while describing the concept called GAU [Gai Aadharit Unnati] and is supposed to be used as a broad phrase for diverse fields of investigation. STFS was used in the working paper to take care of stray cows as the social, cultural, and ethical responsibility. It was further discussed how a circular economy [2] model can be developed for the upliftment of stray cows while also creating employment and boosting the economy through cow-dung[3].
