Solo differentiates itself from other website builders by allowing customers to connect and host their custom domain for free.[4] The French tech site Korben further described this as applying a "Robinhood philosophy to the sector, i.e. to break everything by offering for free what the competition charges" and noted the service had powered more than 7,000 published sites.[4]
