EveryDollar was named the “best for budgeting” app by The Balance in 2022. [2]
Overview[edit]
EveryDollar is a free budgeting tool that can be used across multiple devices: desktop, tablet and mobile (iOS and Android).[3] The tool currently has 3 million app-specific downloads and over 6 million total budgeters across all platforms. [4] [5] [6] Created in 2015, EveryDollar uses the zero-based budgeting method, an approach in which you give every dollar a purpose or job.[7] EveryDollar explains this method brings accountability and helps budgeters keep up with their entire income by assigning all of it to giving, spending and Saving.[8]
Anyone can sign up for a free EveryDollar account by downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play Store or visiting the product’s website.[9] EveryDollar also has premium features, which are only available with a Ramsey+ membership. Users can try out a free trial at any time and upgrade for $129.99/year.[10]
