Solomon Ali
Solomon Ali, aka Richard Marshall Carter, is a Charlotte-based businessperson, philanthropist, and author who serves as CEO of multiple organizations, best-known for being the first African American to lead three publicly traded companies simultaneously.[1][2] His work focuses on helping minorities develop new businesses, protect their intellectual property, build strategic partnerships, and gain access to capital.[1][3][2] Ali has led companies in the Energy and Tech sectors grossing sales over $118 million and closed more than 140 mergers and acquisitions.[4]
Early Life
Ali lived in Los Angeles until the age of ten before moving to West Covina. After completing high school at Edgewood High School in West Covina, he later went to serve in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Solomon attended El Camino College for further education. He quit college midway to start his own maintenance company.[5][2]

Ali has served as the CEO of a private equity firm Rainco Industries.[4][6]
NDR Energy Group
Ali acquired NDR Energy Group as a subsidiary of Universal Bio-Energy.[7] Its gross revenue increased from $10 million to $80 million after its acquisition, making it in the Black Enterprise’s Top 100 list.[1][3]
Revolutionary Concepts (REVO)
Ali is the CEO of Revolutionary Concepts Inc. which owns the rights to the Intellectual Property of the two-way audio and video technology which goes to smart devices.[3][2] The company sells licensing rights to Amazon, Ring, August Home Incorporation, HealthCo., Skybell Technologies, LiveWatch Security LLC, Chamberlain, Alarmforce LP, Alarmforce NC Incorporation, Bird Home Automation GmbH and Bird Home Automation LLC.[3]
Universal Bio-Energy
Ali heads the diversified energy incorporation at Universal Bio-Energy, founded in 2004.[5] Through its subsidiary, NDR Energy Group, the corporation has gained sales contracts for natural gas to be sold to 31 public utilities, local gas distribution and electric power producers throughout the United States.[7]

Ali’s Minority Business Access podcast consists of methods to avoid a biased financial system.[4] The podcast has included Les Brown, Lisa Nicole Cloud, Alec Stern, co-creator of Beats by Dre, Chris Ryan and Noel Lee.[8]
SYS Smart Home Technology
Ali launched SYS Smart Home Technology which is the subsidiary of Revolutionary Concepts. The company is working to make affordable home technology for low-income families.[5] In 2019, the company launched a community church initiative to increase Smart Home technology and security accessibility.[1]

Ali is the CEO of the Solomon RC Ali Corporation which focuses on helping entrepreneurs and investors by providing access to capital, marketing, and consulting services.
