Southern Urbanism is an American nonprofit organization focused on urban planning and design in the American South.[1][2][3] Founded by Aaron Lubeck, a builder and developer in Durham, North Carolina, the organization publishes Southern Urbanism Quarterly magazine.[4][5] Southern Urbanism Quarterly publishes essays and interviews with architects, real estate developers, policymakers, including Tesho Akindele, Raleigh Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin, and President of the Congress for the New Urbanism Mallory Baches.[1]
