Spekter Clan is a professional esports and entertainment brand headquartered in Denmark. Spekter was founded April 28, 2019 consisting of players from around Europe. Spekter Clan has rosters competing in Fortnite Battle Royale, and a number of streamers on the live-streaming platform Twitch.
History[edit]
Spekter made its debut in Fortnite Battle Royale April 30, 2019, consisting of players from around Europe. In 2019, Fortnite Battle Royale held a large tournament named the Fortnite Champion Series with five weeks of online qualifiers, and five weeks of closed finals following the initial online qualifiers to find the best players from all regions to go head-to-head in the Fortnite Champion Series - Grand finals with a total prize pool of $10,000,000.[2] The Spekter roster managed to claim 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 8th place performed by founding players of the organization. Because of the player's success in the tournament, they were quickly bought out of their contracts by larger organizations with higher capital[3]
Logo[edit]
The name Spekter is very similar to the word specter, which is defined as a ghost, which can also be seen on their logo.
Current divisions[edit]
Fortnite Battle Royale[edit]
The acquisition of their current roster was made during the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2021. The first signing was Ville "Vacan"[4] on March 22nd followed by Wesley "Wesley" Hooper[5] on the 24th, and PKR[6] on the 29th of March. The last additions included Johan "PenguWingu" Felumb[7] on the 2nd of April, Josh "Remix" on the 28th of April[8] and Tez[9] on the 9th of May. Spekter also made a recent acquisition of their head coach Ghoul on June 6th.
