Sreyes K.S. (born 24 July, 1993), credited as Sreyes KS, Sreyes, is an Indian film editor who works in the Tamil film industry. He debuted as an editor through the Tamil film Annadurai (2017) (Indrasena, in Telugu).

Personal Life[edit]

Sreyes was born in Salem, Tamil Nadu to Tamil-speaking parents who worked in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). After completing his schooling from Golden Gates School and Holy Cross School in Salem, he moved to Chennai to pursue a degree in Visual Communication at SRM University.

Career[edit]

During his college years in Chennai, Sreyes edited various short films, notably, Rasavaadham[1] and Checkmate[2]. Checkmate starred Vinodhini Vaidyanathan and was well-received by the media.The film received many awards in short film competitions across Tamil Nadu.[3]. While in the final year at SRM University, he assisted editor J.V.Manikanda Balaji[4][5]. After graduating, he began editing various short films and and advertisement films. In 2017, he made a breakthrough into mainstream cinema in Vijay Antony's Annadurai where he edited the film alongside Vijay Antony.[6] [7]
