Srinath Rajendran (born on 23 May 1983) is an Indian film director. He is known for Kurup (2021), Koothara (2014) and Second Show (2012).[1]

Early and personal life[edit]

Srinath Rajendran was born in Beypore, Kerala.[2] He studied at the Calicut University Institute of Engineering and Technology and then went on to graduate from the Asian Academy of Film and Television in 2007.[3]

He married actress Gauthami Nair on 2 April 2017.[4]

Career[edit]

He made his directorial debut along with Dulquer Salman's acting debut in the box office hit Second Show in 2012. He then went on to direct Koothara starring Mohanlal in 2014. His most recent release, Kurup, in 2021 was a critical and commercial success and is among the highest-grossing Malayalam films of all time.[5]
