Srushti Deshmukh (सृष्टी देशमुख) (born 28 March 1996) is an IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officer and UPSC holding 5th rank.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12] She is currently serving in Madhya Pradesh cadre as Sub-Divisional Magistrate.[1][2][3][4][5]
Early life and Education[edit]
Srushti was born on 28th March 1996 in Bhopal, Madya Pradesh to Jayant & Sunita Deshmukh. She attended Carmel Convent School, BHEL, Bhopal, with 93.4 percent in her class 12th board exam. She graduated from Laxmi Narayan College of Technology in Bhopal with a B.Tech in chemical engineering (2014 to 2018). She started studying for the UPSC exam while studying engineering. Engineering was as her second option, in case she was not able to get into the IAS (Indian Administrative Service). She considers Yoga & Music as her hobby. She cleared UPSC in her very 1st attempt at the age of 23[1][4][5][6][8][9][10]. She got Engaged with Dr. Nagarjun B Gowda IAS. Both of them belong to IAS (Indian Administrative Service) Batch 2019. Both of them met in LBSNAA (Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration).On 23rd April 2022 she got married to Nagarjun B. Gowda.[13][14]
Career[edit]
She is the first civil servant in her family. She has been allocated to the IAS (Indian Administrative Service) cadre on the basis of CSE (Civil Services Examination) – 2018 to her home state Madhya Pradesh.
Her 1st posting was in the Dindori districts of Madhya Pradesh, India. Srushti is posted in Gadarwara as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM). In June 2022 she published her first book The Answer Writing Manual.[15]
