Stadium neighborhood
Stadium neighborhood or sometimes just known as Stadium is a neighborhood in the West End quadrant of Richmond, Virginia. The neighborhood encompasses City Stadium, which used to host the Richmond Spiders football program, and currently serves as the main venue for the Richmond Kickers pro soccer club.
The shape of Stadium is triangular as it is between three major downtown highways that serve Richmond. Virginia Route 126 lies to the southeast of the neighborhood, while the Beltline Expressway is northeast of the district, and Powhite Parkway is northwest of the community. McCloy St. and Maplewood Ave. serve as the main roads of the neighborhood.
