Stalwart Esports is an Indian professional esports organisation focused on mobile gaming. It was founded in January 2020 by Zeyan Shafiq to promote India in competitive esports, and became known for its collaboration with Pakistani Esports organisation Freestyle Esports after PUBG Mobile was banned in India.[1] Stalwart Esports has teams competing in PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, Call of Duty: Mobile, Clash Royale, and Pro Evolution Soccer. They train young esport athletes from India.[2]

PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO)[edit]
Stalwart Esports PUBG Mobile division made their first appearance in Pubg Mobile Club Open Fall Split 2020 and claimed 3rd position hence advancing for the PMPL S2 and earning $1100.[3]
PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL)[edit]
Stalwart Esports had secured a direct slot to the PMPL S2 tournament after finishing up as #3 in PMCO Fall Split 2020, India. However, due to the wake of the recent India-China dispute, PUBG Mobile was banned in India from 2 September. Reluctant to give up their slot, they signed a Pakistani line-up called FreeStyle Esports to represent them in the Pro league. FreeStyle Esports have been champions of the Pakistan PMCO 2020 and was part of the World League last season.[4][5][6][7]
Stalwart Freestyle[edit]
In December 2020, Stalwart Esports continued the cross border collaboration with FreeStyle Esports and formed a new entity "Stalwart Freestyle" in Pakistan region.[8] It turned out to be an unprecedented alliance between Indian and Pakistani gamers.[9]

Stalwart Esports x Flex Esports[edit]
In February 2021, Stalwart Esports announced their second partnership in Pakistan with another Pakistani esport organisation 'Flex Esports' and formed a new entity "Stalwart Flex" in the region for the PMCO Pakistan 2021 Spring Split tournament.[10] Stalwart Esports are invited to the PMCO 2021 Spring Split Pakistan Finals because they played the PMPL South Asia Season 2 Finals.[11]

FreeFire Indian Championship (FFIC)[edit]
On 1 October 2020, Stalwart Esports introduced their Free Fire Competitive line-up to participate in the Free Fire India Championship 2020(FFIC).[2] The Lineup ended up at 2nd position in the FFIC League stages and were able to secure a direct slot in FFIC Grand Finals.[12] In FFIC Grand Finals, Stalwart Esports claimed the third position with 122 points and 52 kill points.
Controversies[edit]
On 23 September 2020, Jonty Gaming a content creator with Stalwart Esports had allegedly breached the contract and joined Critical X, According to Critical X Jonty had not disclosed to them of any previous engagement with any other organisation.[13][14]
