Staniforths (bakery)
Staniforths is a family owned bakery based in Parkgate, a suburb of Rotherham, South Yorkshire.[1]
History[edit]
The business was established in 1940 by John Fred Staniforth (1901-1988), the son of Fred Staniforth and Elizabeth Ann Haines. Specialising in sandwiches, bread, cakes and confectionary, the brand soon spread to neighbouring cities, including Sheffield.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
The business passed to John's sons John Peter Staniforth and James Frederick Staniforth, and today the business is still ran by their children.[8][9][10]
