Static Blue (real name Jonathan Blakoe) is a trance music producer and DJ. He came to prominence in 2006 with his first trance track "Fade Away", released on the Amon Vision record label.[1] "Fade Away" was released with two remixes done by Icone and Ian Betts. This was followed by the tracks "Going Home", "Ice Lake", "Under the Sea", and "Wonder" in the same year.[2] He had nine more releases on different labels in 2007 and 2008. In addition to this, Jonathan Blakoe has done numerous remixes of dance records on different labels.[2] Despite the fact that his work has been mainly released on digital labels, Blakoe has still had good DJ support, with a number of big-name DJs (such as Above & Beyond and John O'Callaghan) regularly spinning his records.[1]
