Status Anxiety.

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Status Anxiety is an Australian leather goods brand founded in 2004 by friends Will Sked and Scott Hawkes, who went on to start The Horse, after seeing a gap in the market for men to find a nice simple leather wallet that wasn't a surf or big name brand[1][2]. The Sydney-based maker of premium leather goods believe in function and uncomplicated, minimalistic design[3][4].

As of August 2018, the brand sells close to 100 different products, including mens and womens wallets, handbags, watches, travel and tech accessories, and belts[1] sold in over 600 top tier fashion boutiques and department stores across 12 countries as well as two of their own retail stores in Sydney[5][1].

The name, Status Anxiety, was chosen following an article in The Age explaining the social phenomenon of status anxiety as explained in Alain De Botton's book of the same name[1]. It is the notion that our self-estimation depends upon our social standing[6].
