Stephanie Cholensky is an American democratic and feminist socialist politician, former co-chair of the Socialist Party USA.[3] Originally from North Branch, Minnesota, Cholensky lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she is a graduate student at the University of North Carolina.
Cholensky was elected National Co-Chair of the Socialist Party USA at their 2011 National Convention in Los Angeles and served three two-year terms. She was defeated for re-election to a fourth term at the 2017 National Convention in New York City and was subsequently elected onto the party's National Committee for the 2017-2019 term.
Cholensky is also the convener of the party's Women's Commission.
