Steve P. Mullins (born July 6, 1966) is an American business executive better known for holding the Chief Financial Officer,[1] Consultant, and Board Member position at numerous technology companies across the Washington, DC, and Silicon Valley region.[2][3][4][5]

Career[edit]

Mullins became the CFO at InteliData Technologies Corporation in 1999, where he oversaw all operations relating to accounting, finance, tax, auditing, and investor relations.[6] Since then, he has held various positions as CFO, consultant, and board member at numerous technology companies across the Washington, DC, and Silicon Valley regions.[7][8]

Mullins has been affiliated with over 50 companies throughout his career, including SignalFrame, Contactually, Surprise Ride, Spree Commerce, Secure Elements, Intelliworks, Rollstream, Framebridge, Invincea, and Earth Optics. He has assisted with capital raises of over $1 billion and acquisitions exceeding $1 billion for these companies.[9][10]

His current professional affiliations include companies such as PROOF Acquisition Corp I,[11] INADEV Corporation, KBW Ventures,[12] Bloom Protocol, Endera Systems, Rebellion Defense, Percipient.ai, Redjack, and Awareness Analytics Partners.[13]

In addition to his professional affiliations, Mullins has served on the Board of Visitors at George Mason University, where he chaired the Audit Committee,[14] and the Board of Directors at Acell, Inc. He has also held board positions in multiple organizations, such as the Transition Committee for Technology Policy and the Office of the Governor-elect. Mullins was a member of the Board of Directors for Secure Elements, Inc., the Northern Virginia Technology Council's TechPAC, the Hunter Mill District Plan Review Committee, and several others.[15]

Personal life[edit]

Mullins was born and raised in Annandale, Virginia. He attended Fairfax County Public School and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from George Mason University in 1990.[16]

His father, Dennis Patrick Mullins, was a well-known American Equine insurance salesman and chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia, and his mother, Jacqueline McBrayer Mullins was a former Executive Director of the Annandale Chamber of Commerce. He resides in Great Falls in Virginia, United States, with his wife, Cristina Sirtori Mullins, and daughters, Amanda and Sabrina Mullins.
