Stitch is a Philadelphia-based cloud ETL software company, founded in 2016.[1]
Technology
Stitch develops and markets an ETL software platform. Stitch connects to more than 70 SaaS and database data sources, and five data warehouse platforms.[citation needed]
Stitch is powered by Singer[2], an open source standard for writing scripts that move data, which is based on JSON Schema.
Awards and Recognition
In January 2017, Philadelphia Magazine named Stitch one of 10 Philly startups to watch in 2017.[3]
In February 2017, DZone (Big Data Zone) named Stitch as one of only three cloud ETL tools in its list of 11 Great ETL Tools[4].
In September 2017, Tech in Motion recognized Stitch as Best Tech Startup in its second annual Timmy Awards[5].
In January 2018, Stitch was named one of Philly's top 20 startups by Technical.ly Philly.[6]
History
Stitch is a spin-out from RJMetrics: In August 2016, Magento acquired RJMetrics, and Stitch was spun out as an independent company, with the same investors as RJMetrics.[citation needed]
