StretchBot is a retro platformer video game for Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android..[1] The game was developed and published by M5 Games of Canada in 2019 and was first available on the iOS and Android app stores on December 17, 2019[2] with releases for Windows and MacOS coming on Feb 5, 2020[3]

Gameplay[edit]

StretchBot is a 2D side-scrolling platformer with a 16-bit graphical style in which players control Stretch a steam powered robot who was deemed obsolete by the evil Kid Scientist.

Stretch's primary means of attack is his fist, which he can either use to punch enemies, or aim below him while jumping to bounce on enemies, similar to the pogo jump from DuckTales or the downward thrust from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Stretch can also use his long reach to grab onto the ceiling of levels and swing across large gaps or holes.
