Khalick Antonio Caldwell (born January 1, 1996), better known as Stunna 4 Vegas (formerly $tunna 4 Vegas and $tunna), is an American rapper. He is best known for his hit single "Animal", which featured fellow rapper DaBaby. Other hit singles include "Ashley," also featuring DaBaby, "Tomorrow" featuring Moneybagg Yo, & "Up The Smoke" with Offset. His debut album, BIG 4X, was released on May 10, 2019. It peaked at number 50 on the Billboard 200.
Early life[edit]
Caldwell grew up in Salisbury, North Carolina. He got into the rap game in high school, with early influences being 2 Chainz, T.I., Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne, & Fat Trel.[1]
Career[edit]
2017-2018: Early mixtapes[edit]
Caldwell's first mixtape Boot Up was released in January 2017. In April 2017, the first installment of his Stunna Season mixtape series was released. His next mixtape, Young Nigga Shit, was released in September 2017. His fourth mixtape, 4 Way or No Way, was released in January 2018. The second installment in the Stunna Season series was released in September 2018.
2018: "Animal" and signing to DaBaby[edit]
In late September 2018, Caldwell released the track "Animal", which featured Charlotte rapper DaBaby. The track blew up due to DaBaby's popularity and the song being posted on his channel. Soon after, Caldwell was signed to DaBaby's record label Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment, and was featured on his track "4X" from his November 2018 mixtape Blank Blank.[2]
2019: Further success and debut album[edit]
Caldwell was featured on DaBaby's track "Joggers" from his debut album Baby on Baby in March 2019.[3] He was then featured on Asian Da Brat's 2019 mixtape Unfuccwitable, on the track "I Love It".[4]
In May 2019, Caldwell signed with Interscope Records.[5] He then released his debut album under the label, BIG 4X, on May 10, 2019. The album contained guest features from DaBaby, Offset, NLE Choppa, Young Nudy, & Lil Durk. The album peaked at number 50 on the Billboard 200, and received positive reviews.
In the following months, he released singles such as "Tomorrow" featuring Moneybagg Yo, "Flintstones" featuring BannUpPrince, "Boat 4 Vegas" featuring Lil Yachty, and, most notably, "Up The Smoke" with Offset. These singles are expected to appear on his second studio album, Rich Youngin'. He revealed the album's title during an interview with music website Groovy Tracks.
