Stupid Wife is a Brazilian LGBTQ+ drama and romance web series, loosely based on the homonymous short story by author Nathália Sodré, Lembre-se de Nós. The series is produced by Brazilian production company Ponto Ação and stars Priscila Reis, Priscila Buiar and Thomás de Araújo. Directed by Natalie Smith and Priscilla Pugliese, the webseries was released on August 4, 2022 on YouTube.[1][2][3]

The short story Stupid Wife (originally released as a fanfic), reached several hits in the first weeks of its premiere, which resulted in a Christmas special with two episodes released in December 2022, in addition to being renewed for a 2nd season, with Premiere scheduled for 2023. The plot of the series deals with very important subjects, among them are Dissociative Amnesia and Depersonalization Disorder, disorders that are not popularly known.[4][5]

The webseries got 9 nominations at the Rio Webfest 2022 awards and secured victory in four, including “Best Drama Series” and “Best Drama Cast”.[6][7]
