Design[edit]
Developed in Japan in early 1990's & introduced / displayed at the 1993 Tokyo motor show.[2] It had Light weight / high impact plastic window glass on the rear canopy. The Subaru Suiren appeared to be a direct replacement for the Brat pick-up - however as an Concept-only model, it was never officially developed further. ( more info to add )
Technical[edit]
It was to be powered by a 2.5 litre DOHC flat-4 engine with Prodrive semi-automatic, rally-derived full time 4WD + Viscous LSD equipped center differential transmission system. ( more to be added )
