Subsonic Factor is a techno dance music group founded in Japan in the 1990s by rapper, singer and songwriter Chosen Effect (aka Terry-T, Faith Chase) and music producer Takashi Kimura with the group formally being signed to Sony Music Entertainment Japan.[1] Often regarded to as one of the original founders of the Tokyo underground house music scene, the groups first release was called Think Of Making Love from the Dance2Noise 001 Compilation[2] in October 1991[3]. This was soon followed up by the groups debut single 2 B N Love from their freshman album titled Echoes soon after which became their anthem & biggest hit. The catchy high energy filled song soon found its way into a Japanese TV commercial along with also being scooped up as a Theme song for a Japanese Anime. A mere week after recording the single, the group found themselves thrust into the music scene as the opening act for the popular Italian House group Black Box (band) to a sold out Nippon Budokan crowd.
Members[edit]
The group was made up of a Japanese music producer Takashi Kimura, American female singer named Christina Hane and American Rapper / Singer Terry-T (also known as Faith Chase, T-Effect & Chosen Effect), the front-person for the group.
