Sudarshan Venu (born February 1, 1989) is an Indian businessman. He is the joint Managing Director of Sundaram-Clayton Group, including TVS Motor Company Limited. [1][2]

Venu graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was conferred with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. [3][2]
He completed the Jerome Fisher Program of Management and Technology with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. [4]
Thereafter, he attended the Warwick Manufacturing Group at the University of Warwick, UK, receiving his Masters in International Technology Management. [5] [6]

Venu is the Joint Managing Director position at Sundaram-Clayton Group since September 10, 2011. [7][8]
Prior to that, Venu was the Vice President of TVS Motor Company Limited. [9][10] Venu serves as the Whole Time Director of TVS Motor Company and the Director of TVS Credit Services Limited since 2013. [11]
Sudarshan Venu is the youngest fourth-generation scion of the TVS Group and was listed by Forbes India in early 2016, as India’s leading next generation businessman. [12][not in citation given]
Sudarshan Venu successfully took TVS Motor Company into international markets[13] in West Asia, Africa, and South America. [13]

Sudarshan’s father, Venu Srinivasan, is an Indian industrialist from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, who is the current Chairman of Sundaram-Clayton Group. [14] [15] Sudarshan Venu’s mother, Mallika Srinivasan, is the Chairperson and CEO of TAFE (Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited) established in 1960. [16] [17] His elder sister, Lakshmi Venu also serves as the Joint Managing Director in Sundaram-Clayton. [18] [19]
Venu is married to wife Tara, who is the daughter of Coimbatore based industrialist Ravi Sam and Uttara. [20] [21]
