Sudhir Memorial Institute Madhyamgram is a 10+2 premier English Medium, Co-educational, day, senior secondary residential school in Madhyamgram, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It is affiliated to the CBSE Board and run by the Panchajanya Trust. However, Bengali and Hindi are compulsory subjects as vernaculars in the three language scheme under Secondary education. The academic session begins from the month of April.
The school has taken the recognisation of Punjab Technical University and started It enabled Management Courses in graduation as well as post graduation from April, 2009.
History[edit]
The school was founded in 1996 by Dr. Subrata Bhattacharya, who is the present chairman of the institution. In the beginning, the school was a three-storeyed building but later on it was made four-storeyed to accommodate the increasing number of students.
Uniform[edit]
Though the school has a general uniform, there are separate uniforms for houses, games, physical education and karate.
House system[edit]
The students are divided into four houses:
- Swamiji, in honour of Swami Vivekananda
- Netaji, in honour of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose
- Guruji, in honour of Kaviguru Rabindranath Tagore
- Bapuji, in honour of Mahatma Gandhi

Curriculum[edit]
The school is a higher secondary school, from class Infant to 12. The curriculum is as per CBSE. The common curriculum is followed till class 10. In class 11 and 12, there are 4 streams: Science, Commerce, Arts and Additionals.
