Sunil (born KCK Jabbar) (died September 10, 2020) was an Indian actor and screenwriter known for his work in Malayalam cinema, noted for his natural style and versatility. His first film was the 1972 film Akkarapacha with Sathyan, who asked him to change his name to Sunil Kumar. He later acted in the movies Ayalkkaari, Ashokavanam, Vilakkum Velichavum and Aanandham Paramaanandham. He also penned for the movies Urukku Mushtikal, Saravarsham and Anantham Ajnatham. He has won several awards, including the 2017 Prem Nazeer Memorial Award of the Kerala Gandhi Sahitya Vedi. In 2018, Gokulam Gopalan honored Jabbar with an award at Guruvayur.
