Suprakash Datta is a Canadian computer scientist specializing in bioinformatics and distributed computing.
Academic career
Datta received his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and Master’s in Computer Science at IIT Kharagpur and his Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of Massachusetts at Amherst.[1] He joined the Department of EECS at Lassonde School of Engineering, York University in the year 2000.[2]
Research
Datta's research interests include Bioinformatics, computer networks, Parallel and distributed computation, performance evaluation, network modeling and simulation, and bioinformatics.
