Suprakash Datta is a Canadian computer scientist specializing in bioinformatics and distributed computing.
Academic career[edit]
Datta received his Bachelors in Electric Engineering and Masters in Computer Science at IIT Kharagpur and his Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of Massachusetts at Amherst.[1] He joined Department of EECS at Lassonde School of Engineering, York University in the year 2000.[2]
Research[edit]
Datta's research interests include Bioinformatics, computer networks, Parallel and distributed computation, performance evaluation, network modeling and simulation, and bioinformatics.
