Suzanne Saïd (09 February 1939 – 01 October 2024) was a French-American academic, classicist, historian, and translator of classical works.

Biography

She was born on 09 February 1939 in Algiers, Algeria.[1]

She died on 01 October 2024 in the 11th arrondissement of Paris.[2][1]

Career

She taught classics at the University of Paris-X Nanterre and Columbia University from 1990 to 2010.[3]
