Troyee is a 1982 Bengali romantic drama film written and directed by Sukhen Das. It stars Pradeep Kumar, Lily Chakraborty and Anil Chatterjee in lead roles. [2][3]
Plot[edit]
The story is about three brothers of a family. The eldest of them is fond of women and wine. The next brother Jeetendra married a woman without informing his elder brother. So his elder brother did not approve this marriage. The youngest brother Bhupendra was evil and planned to usurp the entire property of the palace. Jeetendra in his old age married a woman named Shimantini. Shimantini after knowing his past marriage and son Saibal accepted him as her own son. But Bhupendra did not approve this. So he made a plan to kill Jitendra and his elder brother. His son was a lawyer. He opposed his father's wicked plans restored all lost property to the deserved owners and punished his father Bhupendra and his accomplices. [4]
