Ray Armando Morabito, known professionally as Syleth, is an American music producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. He primarily produces and performs electronic and pop music, but he has diversified his genre and musical style, drawing influences from hard rock, synth pop, trap, and cinematic music. His music has been licensed and featured on ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, The CW, MTV, ESPN, USA Network, Discovery Channel, and National Geographic. [1]
Biography and Career
Ray Armando Morabito was born on February 15, 1981, and adopted and raised by Francesco Morabito and Luisella Borra in northern Italy near Milan. Passionate about music, movies, and influenced by the director and producer Michael Bay, Ray moved to London, UK at age 24 to study filmmaking at the London Metropolitan University and graduated in 2009. After achieving a BSc and an MA, he started his creative career in England directing commercials and promotional videos, and in 2013 he transferred permanently to the United States where he dedicated himself full-time to music production. Formerly known artistically as R. Armando Morabito, In December 2014 he released his first album called "Days of Tomorrow" featuring artists and performers like Lisbeth Scott, Malukah, and Tina Guo. [3]
His track "Rising Force" is the official soundtrack of the MMORPG ArcheAge official trailer "A Way Home." It has over four million views on YouTube. [4]
In 2016, Syleth produced and composed the soundtrack for a Lithuanian/British film called "Waiting for Invasion" directed by Neringa Medutyte. The President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė attended the premiere of the film. [5]
Syleth released his debut music video for his EDM single “Wild” on June 2017. The music video is also a manifesto about animal rights and welfare. [6]
For the annual 4th of July celebrations, in 2018 Syleth released a modern/pop version of the patriotic song "God Bless The U.S.A." based on Lee Greenwood's 1984 most significant hit. The song is performed by Broadway star and X Factor finalist Rachel Potter. [7]

Personal life
In addition to music, Ray is also an animal rights activist and a philanthropist, affiliated with the Humane Society of the United States, International Fund for Animal Welfare, and the Los Angeles Children's Hospital.
He was previously married to cellist and composer Tina Guo. They got married in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA in 2013 but divorced in 2018. Together they have formed a production company called MG Music Int'l specialized in music for licensing in association with Liquid Cinema and APM Music. [8]
