TMSN Records is a Nigerian record label and management company which was founded by recording artist Amzy Babatunde Lawrence widely known as Amzy B and Mrs Yemisi Z Lawal on 30 March 2017.[1] The label was created as a joint family enterprise due to the relationship between both founders being mother and son. TMSN Records services include music recording, merchandising, audiovisual content, branding, and management.[2]
History
On March 30, 2017, Amzy Babatunde Lawrence Amzy B and Mrs Yemisi Z Lawal founded and launched TMSN Records. Amzy B was then signed to the label as a platform to house his music releases.[3] In 2022, the label unveiled Nigerian musician Kaylex as its second official signing.[4][5][6][7] On August 13, 2022, Kaylex debuted by collaborating with Nigerian musician and songwriter Terry Apala on a project titled "Manya".[8] On July 14, 2023, TMSN Records collaborated with Search Alpha, a music tech company, to help up-and-coming and established Nigerian music creatives with the objective of increasing their visibility in Google search results through the use of knowledge panels and search engine optimization techniques, to help fans around the world have a user-friendly experience when searching for them on Google.[9]
