Chandresh Kumar, better known for his stage name TURNEXT, is a rapper/producer and mixing/mastering engineer[2]
Musical Journey
TURNEXT released his first studio single track in 2015, "Oh Baby"[3] featuring the local artist "Naresh Thakur," who is known as "Kullvi Rapper". TURNEXT has also featured with many artists as a mixing/mastering engineer and producer. One of his uncles introduced him to rap and hip-hop music while he was totally unaware of rap. TURNEXT has been a music lover since his childhood. He started listening to Eminem, Bohemia, and so many other artists. Later, he also started writing raps on his own and recorded his first studio single, which he collaborated with his area's local rap artist, "Naresh Thakur," called "Oh Baby." The track got over 1500+ downloads in one day. Since then, TURNEXT never stopped, and he has collaborated with artists like Kasol Boy, Manali Rapstar, Daggerr, and so on. Some of the songs haven't been released to this day.
TURNEXT has also worked as a mixing and mastering engineer for rappers like Sammohan, Vakeel, D-Freak, and Solzer 10 numbri (tu meri nahi), which received massive appreciation. TURNEXT was also featured as a mixing and mastering engineer on the song "Himachali Mashup" by Himachal's well-known and popular singer "Kumar Sahil," which was premiered worldwide on TV channel "mh1". TURNEXT's "O Jaana (beloved)" was produced by his close friend Jacob Singh. Turnext has produced more than 10+ songs as a music producer, like "Hun Main Wahin" by Jasper Joe, "Bholenath" by Ajzex
Early Life
Turnext passed high school from Manali, Himachal Pradesh. His interest in rap music was present from childhood. In school, his friend introduced him to FL Studio (Music Production DAW). He started making music/beats, where his craze for music became more powerful. Turnext has been very passionate about music since he started and he keeps learning new things every day. He was good at studies and also had good grades in computer science and other subjects. He wanted to pursue music studies for further in-depth knowledge about music, but his parents couldn't afford it, so he started learning himself from YouTube and online workshops.
