TVEyes Inc. is a software as a service (SaaS) company that provides online search and indexing for television and radio broadcasts, as well as audio and video search infrastructure for search engines. The company is headquartered in Fairfield, Connecticut.[1] It's founder and CEO is David Ives.[2]

TVEyes has been recognized by the United States Department of Defense as "a sole source provider for key monitoring applications around the world."[3] TVEyes was the first media monitoring company to establish a worldwide network of fully automated TV and radio monitoring servers.[4]

Products and Services[edit]

The TVEyes broadcast media monitoring platform, Media Monitoring Suite™, can search broadcasts by keyword, phrase, or topic and provides intelligence on broadcasts including full-length transcripts, monitoring reports, and clip-editing capability.[5] The company also offers a variety of broadcast database APIs.[6]

In 2005, TVEyes launched Podscope, a search engine that indexes every spoken word within the audio/video content.[7]

In 2014, TVEyes and Italian company PerVoice S.p.A., a subsidiary of AlmavivA, formed TVEyes Language Technology (TLT).[8] The TLT platform uses a combination of speech-to-text technology and artificial intelligence to transcribe broadcast content in multiple languages.[9]

TVEyes owns a number of patents, including a system for extracting and monitoring media tags within video content and a system of contextual advertising for video and audio media.[10]
