Mufti Tariq Masood (born 1975) is a Pakistani Islamic scholar. He is a leader of Jamat Ahl-e-sunnat in Pakistan. He pursued an intensive, full-time study of the classical, Islamic academic disciplines previously known as the 'Dars-e-Nizami', and completed his specialisation in Islamic jurisprudence famously known for their way of understanding religion to other people easily. He is also known for writing a book "ek se zayid shadiyon ki zaroorat kyun".

Mufti Tariq Masood was born in Sargodha, Punjab of Pakistan sunni religious family. Who are ethnic Pashtun people now based in Karachi, he is a renowned scholar among Hindi/Urdu speaking people. He is a Mufti that studied and trained in Islamic Jurisprudence and the follower of Imam Abu Hanifa in matter of Fiqh. He rose to fame for his famous sermons on the importance of marriage. He currently has 4 wives and preaches that according to sharia it is better to have multiple wives than having affairs. He is often seen urging youth for marriage.
