Tasleem Arif[1] (born 11 April 1980 in Mughalsarai, India) is the vice president of OPPO Mobiles.[2] and the head of the R&D arm of OPPO Mobiles India Pvt. Ltd.[3][4]
From 2005 to 2018, he served numerous product management roles in Samsung, including head of the Make For India Team[5] and the Head of Hardware and Software Planning Team at Samsung India.[4]
He has co-authored multiple patents and technical papers to create localized solutions for mobile phone users of India.

Following his post-graduation, Tasleem joined Accenture as a software engineer. He was employed by the company from February 2004 to April 2005.
Then he joined Samsung, India as a software engineer. During his tenure of about 13 years he gradually moved up the organisational ladder, eventually being promoted as the head of Make For India Team[7] and Hardware & Software Planning Team[8]
After his tenure at Samsung, Tasleem joined OPPO Mobiles as Vice President and India R&D Head,[9][4] to lay the cornerstone of its first Indian R&D office.
This office is the largest R&D subsidiary of OPPO mobiles outside of China.[10]
Tasleem Arif is known to be a strong supporter of the "Make in India" campaign by the Indian Government. His inventions are targeted first and foremost at the Indian market.[11][7]
