Taylor Nelson Little is a drummer from Vancouver, British Columbia.[1] He has been a part of several well-known acts from the Vancouver and Seattle punk and rock scenes, including the Payola$, the Furies, Bughouse 5, 3 Swimmers, and Poisoned. He is most well known for his work drumming for Juno award winner and Order of Canada recipient Art Bergmann.[2] Little currently plays in 20 Explosive Hits, Anna Bon Bon, and The Judys.[3]
Career
Little played drums with The Shades in the late 1970s, which was started by Chris Arnett after the Furies, "Vancouver's first punk band", disbanded. He then went on to play with 3 Swimmers, a Marxist-anarchist post-punk band based in Seattle.[4] After this, he joined the early iteration of Art Bergmann's band in 1979, then known as the Psychic Healers. The Psychic Healers eventually became known as Poisoned, and finally as The Showdogs. Bergmann left the Showdogs in 1991 for a solo career.[2]
Little went on to play drums for Vancouver-based rockabilly band Bughouse 5, before joining The Furies for their reunion in 2007. He also performed at the Poisoned reunion at Richards on Richards in 2009.[5][6][7]
Currently, Little performs in roots rock band Anna Bon Bon, rock band The Judys, and rock cover band 20 Explosive Hits[3]
Personal life
Little is the father of Vancouver musician Alex Little of Alex Little and the Suspicious Minds (Light Organ Records). He drives a 1964 Mercury Marauder named "Moondoggie"[8]. He worked previously as a hairdresser in Vancouver. [4]
