TechMagic is a Ukrainian software development company. It works according to the models of a dedicated team, fixed price, and R&D center.
History[edit]
TechMagic was founded in 2014 in Lviv, Ukraine, by Oleh Dats, Lidia Dats.[1], and Andrii Kuzmych. In 2016, the company set up an office in Boston and another one in London in 2020.
From the beginning and until now, the company's main clients are startups from Western and North Europe, the UK, and the USA. It also cooperates with large international companies like StepStone, Tide, Totaljobs Group.
In 2020 TechMagic created its subproject — MagicHire. It’s a recruitment agency that forms development teams for specific projects within the company and for external clients. MagicFuse has been the second subsidiary of TechMagic since 2021. It focuses on Salesforce development[2]
Educational initiatives[edit]
In 2021, TechMagic launched TechMagic Academy[3]. It is a free training program[4] for those who want to start their career in IT. There are two areas — JavaScript and QA.
MagicJS[5] is a JavaScript community where you can listen to experienced speakers for free, participate in discussions and share knowledge and experiences.
AWS User Group Lviv Ukraine[6] is an official community supported by AWS[7]. Its primary purpose is to exchange the latest news and insights on AWS services for local engineers. Meetings take place in online and offline formats.
The company conducted training for students of Lviv universities.[8][9]
Ratings and partnerships[edit]
- In 2016, TechMagic was listed by DOU as one of the top five employers in Lviv[10]
- MC.today included TechMagic in the list of 100 best employers of Ukraine in the category "From 101 to 1000 employees"[11]
- Work.ua included TechMagic in the list of 15 best IT employers of Ukraine in 2021[12]
- Clutch Highlights the Top IT Services Providers Among Selected Categories for 2021[13]
- TechMagic has been the official partner of Serverless Framework Partner[14] and Salesforce Consulting Partner since 2018[15]
- HackerNoon included TechMagic in top 30 cloud and Salesforce consulting companies in 2020[16][17]
