Techcabal
Techcabal is a Nigerian media technology publication and a subsidiary of Big Cabal Media, a Nigerian digital media company. Techcabal was founded by Bankole Oluwafemi and Seyi Taylor in 2014.[1] The Managing Editor is currently Koromone Koroye.[2]
Techcabal was one of the private sector players involved in the creation of the Nigerian startup bill in 2022.[3]
Funding
Its parent company Big Cabal Media raised $600,000 in equity funding from Platform Capital in 2020.[4]
Big Cabal Media raised $2.3 million in seed funding in March 2022 led by MaC Venture Capital and saw Luminate, Unicorn Group, Future Africa and several angel investors participate.[5] [6]
Partnerships
Techcabal partnered with Moniepoint in September 2022 to host the second edition of its conference "The future of commerce".[7]
MainOne partnered CcHub, TechCabal, Sterling Bank for the second edition of Cchub's PitchDrive tech tour.[8]
Techcabal partnered the Ekiti state government to launch a software development bootcamp for residents of the state in 2022. [9] [10]
