Technopark, Kollam
Technopark, Kollam is an industrial park in Kundara, Kollam, 63 km away from the Technopark, Trivandrum Campus.
Technopark Kollam is 44.47 acres of land beside scenic Kanjiracodu Lake. This park is being developed as a Special Economic Zone. Technopark's IT building with a built-up space of 1 lakh sq.ft is complete and SBC companies have commenced operation from the campus.
The first phase of park was inaugurated by then Chief minister of Kerala, Shri. V. S. Achuthanandan on 2011 February 15.[1]
Accessibility[edit]
This technological park is accessible by road, rail and water modes of transport. Kundara railway station is the nearest railway station. National Highway 183 (India) passes through near the park.
Achievements[edit]
A team of Indian Innovators at a company in the park called, Waferchips launched a new device called Biocalculus, a Single Lead, Wireless Lightweight Ambulatory Cardiac Monitor to Enhance Patient Care.[2]

- Availability of water
- Hiccups due to railway level cross closure at Kundara and lack of a flyover.
- Inadequate patronage from local politicians and pressure groups.
