Tensor Tech is a space company based in Taipei, provides solutions for satellite attitude determination and control systems (ADCS),[1][2] specializing in guidance, navigation, and control with a range of space-qualified products for small satellites or microsatellites.

Manufacture[edit]

ADCS[edit]

ADCS uses variable speed control moment gyroscopes (CMG) for pointing and tracking, it is more power efficient than traditional reaction wheels. The CMG actuators are scalable and can be combined in various configurations to adapt to different mission profiles. The ADCS includes estimator and control algorithms with a wide variety of sensors for all ADCS control modes.[2]

CMG[edit]

The CMG includes speed and torque modes, allowing users to control the CMG directly by simply setting speed or torque output values.[3] It maximizes performance for small satellites users by miniaturizing its variable speed control moment gyroscopes[1] with additional power efficiency compared to traditional reaction wheels solutions.

Sun sensor[edit]

Sun sensors are one of the most commonly used sensors for attitude determination. Sun sensors feature a high cost-performance ratio with the ability for mass production and a wide variety type.[4]

ADCS Testbed[edit]

An attitude determination and control system (ADCS) testbed is required for ADCS examination and calibration.[5] The testbed consists of an air-bearing platform, a triaxial Helmholtz cage, and a solar simulator. Tensor Tech has fully scalable testbed that can measure the mass properties of the device under test.[6]
