Tera Capital Limited was a private investment firm that invested in private equities. It was headquartered in Singapore.[1] It was the investment holding firm of Ted Fang and his two brothers.[2] In 2003, the principals successfully acquired the Days Inn master franchise for Greater China from Wyndham Worldwide Corporation. Since starting operations in 2004, the principals had made Days Inn China one of China's fastest growing mid-market hotel chains, with a portfolio of 92 hotels in 54 cities across 22 provinces.
In January, 2019, Wyndham Worldwide Corporation reacquired the exclusive direct franchising rights for Days Inn brand for the People's Republic of China.[3] While there is no mention of Tera Capital in the article, one has to assume that they were involved since they claimed to have the franchising rights previously.
Tera Capital had offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore.[4]
