) is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama film directed by Aanand L. Rai.[2][3][4] The film is produced by Aanand L. Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banners Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series.[5] The film is written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav.[6] The film is described as a spiritual sequel to Rai's 2013 film Raanjhanaa. The lead cast of the film includes Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. The film is set for release theatrically on 28 November 2025.[7][8]

Production
Director Rai articulated that idea of making Tere Ishq Mein is to revisit the sensibilities of Raanjhanaa, crafted for Gen-Z audience in mind. [9]
Development and casting
The film marks third collaboration after Raanjhanaa (2013) and Atrangi Re (2021) between Rai and Dhanush. Rai cast Dhanush once again as according to him actor falls in his comfort zone. [10] [11] Kriti Sanon was cast as the female lead only in February 2025.[12][13] The film script and screenplay has been written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav who have also written dialogue. The film is described as a spiritual sequel to Raanjhanaa. The lead cast of the film includes Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. [14] Tere Ishq Mein was first announced on June 2023 but did not start filming until October 2024 except for a promo shoot, due to the busy schedule of Dhanush. [15]
Filming
Principal photography began in October 2024 with initial filming stating from June 2023, when a promo video was shot and launched, on occasion of 10th anniversary of Raanjhanaa.[16] The film has been shot in Delhi and Benaras with Kriti joining the shot in February 2025.[17] The filming was completed on July 2025, and film is now into post production.[18] Some scenes were also shot in Sri Ram College of Commerce that went viral.[19] In April 2025, the Leh schedule of the film was completed.[20]
Post production
Besides A. R. Rahman, academy award winner Resul Pookutty is also part of post production team. [21]
Soundtrack
The film's soundtrack and background score has been composed by A.R.Rahman with lyrics by Irshad Kamil and songs by Arijit Singh, Nitesh Aher and Faheem Abdullah.[22] The soundtrack is being released on T-Series.[23]
Marketing
Tere Ishk Mein initial teaser was released on Youtube on 27 January 2025. A full teaser was released on 1 October 2025. The teaser was attached to Kantara: Chapter 1 and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari as the producers wanted to make full use of festive mood with Dusshera and Diwali as part of long promotional campaign.[24] [25]
Release
The film is scheduled for release on 28 November 2025 worldwide in Hindi and Tamil.[26]
