TestArchitect is a test automation tool for functional [1] and regression testing [2] of software applications developed by LogiGear Corporation. TestArchitect allows testers to create automated tests for web applications, web services, Windows, Android, and iOS applications.
Overview
License Model
TestArchitect is a commercial software product and licensed under a proprietary license. There are two types of licenses: node-locked license and floating or concurrent license [3]. A Freemium license [4] for up to 2 node-locked users and 100 test cases per company was made available in June 2017.
Supported OS
TestArchitect runs on Windows (Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Server 2008, Server 2012), Red Hat Enterprise Linux and macOS.
Supported Automation Platforms
- Support 32-bit and 64-bit Windows applications such as Java, .Net, WinForms, WPF, and Silverlight.
- Support cross-browser testing for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge on Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS.
- Support API testing for REST and SOAP web services.
- Support automated testing for images, database, and command-line interface.
