The B.G.'z were an American Southern hip hop duo consisting of Lil Wayne (known then as "Baby D") and B.G. (known then as "Lil' Doogie").[2] Formed by Brian "B-32" Williams in 1994, the duo is considered a precursor to the group Hot Boys (which would contain Juvenile and Turk) as one of the first signees of Cash Money Records. Their debut album, True Story was released in July 1995.[3][4][5]
