The Baker is an upcoming American film action-drama film directed by Jonathan Sobol. It stars Ron Perlman, Harvey Keitel, Elias Koteas, Joel David Moore, and newcomer Emma Ho.
Premise[edit]
The movie will chart the story of a quiet, stoic man living a monk-like existence in self-imposed exile. When his estranged son is killed in a drug deal gone bad and he is left to look after a granddaughter he never knew existed, he is forced back into a life he tried to put behind him.

Production[edit]
The Baker was announced on April 27, 2021, when it was reported principal photography had begun in the Cayman Islands, as part of a multi-production deal between the islands and the production company Productivity Media. It is the second film from the company starring Ron Perlman to film in the Cayman Islands, after Blue Iguana, and after filming on The Baker wrapped by May 2021, production began on the third film titled The Retirement Plan.[1][2][3]
