The Crosslegs is an Estonian folk rock band. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Alden Marcus Kirss, vocalist and pianist Villem Suits, flutist Siim Sõmer, bassist Vidrik Toom Tabas and drummer Karl Valkna. They have been strongly inspired by artists like Johnny Flynn, Shakey Graves, The Lumineers and Mammal Hands.
History
Alden Marcus Kirss, Villem Suits and Siim Sõmer are friends who first started playing together in autumn of 2016, where in 2018, Vidrik Toom Tabas joined on bass and later in 2019, Karl Valkna joined the group on drums.[1][2]
The Crosslegs took part in the Noortebänd (Estonian Youth Band) 2020 competition as one of 12 semi-finalists.[3] On October 12th, 2020 The Crosslegs was announced by an Estonian radio "Raadio 2" as their weekly demo for the song Ticking Bomb.[4]
