Summary[edit]
The winner of battles as well as hearts, he is nonetheless concerned about his future. Sir John Colchester has three older brothers and, therefore, no chance of inheriting anything of significance. In his search for a permanent home, he comes upon a strange kingdom and its lovely Queen. As he spends more time in her court, he becomes aware of just how different this place is. Queen Lily is beautiful and mysterious, but who is she really? He eventually recognizes that finding the answer to this question is more important than anything else.[3]
