The Escaping Light is a novel by the Moroccan writer Mohammed Berrada, who was born in Morocco, specifically in Rabat, year 1938. However, he studied and obtained his degree from Mohammed University in Rabat year 1962. As he also held several important positions as union president and political columnist for a newspaper.[1] [2]

Story Events[edit]
This novel is divided into three sections and each section discusses an aspect of each character. However, the novel begins with the most important character Al Ayshouni, who was adopted by a Spanish father whose life was filled with many adventures. Ad he also focuses on Ghalyana, a woman who suffered a lot in her life and had a relationship with Al Ayshouni. Adding, the story of Fatma, daughter of Ghaylana, as it reveals the relationship of her former lover Al Ayshouni and her mother. [3][4]
