The Golf Lottery is a UK lottery that offers golf-related prizes and supports good causes. It was launched in June 2022[1][2][3] by Ryan Howsam, a British entrepreneur who founded the Staysure Insurance Group and is the majority owner[4] of the Legends Tour, the golf tour for professional players over 50 on the PGA European Tour. The Golf Lottery is registered with the UK Gambling Commission.
Supported causes and partners[edit]
The lottery states it raises funds for golfing charities and charities with a wider remit that helps golfers, for example health-related charities. At launch, this included The Golf Foundation, Prostate Cancer UK, The Alzheimer's Society and the PGA European Tour's Golf for Good.
The DP World Tour, the Legends Tour and the Ladies European Tour are all golfing partners of the lottery.
Prizes[edit]
Prizes offered are focused on golf and cash,[5] with golf-related experiences including holidays and rounds of golf with celebrities and professional golfers, drawing on the connection with the Legends Tour.
