Better Off
The Home Team's first full-length album, Better Off, was written and produced by members of the band and released in 2018.[1] In a review, the music blog New Transcendence, called the album a "powerful record that manages to be a fun, care-free summer hit and a deeper, more introspective experience for cooler, lonely autumn nights."[2]
Slow Bloom
The Home Team's second album, called Slow Bloom, was produced by Skyler Acord[3], the bassist of Issues, touring member of Twenty One Pilots, and brother of Tyler Acord. Others credited across the album include Kris Crummett of Interlace Audio Recording Studio, Seb Barlow of Neck Deep, and Aaron Smith of 7 Horns 7 Eyes. Jeff Loomis of Nevermore, Yvette Young, and Veil of Maya were also featured on the album.[3]
Following the release of Slow Bloom, The Home Team's song, "Watching All Your Friends Get Rich" was featured by MTV's Bop Shop, which called the new release a "banger," with "dynamic vocals over an infectious groove."[4]
Later that year, The Home Team was also featured in Alternative Press, which listed the band among 10 bands to "transport you back to the 2000s"[5] alongside others including Meet Me @ the Alter.
